GBM I know I also said "Never again"but I quite fancy giving it one last go next year.
I think we dragged each other round for them, but I think most of us paid too much resect to that last hill after last year,so maybe a quicker first half for next year.
Minnie - Yes will be at the track. Do you want it any sooner?
Passing Clouds was very very very wet! Id like to say it was hard work with lots of steep climbs, but ST keeps giving me one of those 'dont talk to me about hard, I've just done a marathon' looks.
The run across the Roaches was just like wading knee deep through bogs. No firm ground whatsoever.
New boy Steve did 1:32, 1:45 for me and not sure of Daz time. 1:50ish I think.
Well done everyone re. this week-end, good luck to the Dubliners, that's the runners not the band.
Kwak-so Passing Clouds wasn't hard work, I think the clue re. the weather is in the title, is ST now THE athlete in the family. lets hope the rabbit doesn't pass you in the next trail race.
Is anyone else really tired? I went to bed at 8.30 last night, slept really well and am still tired!
Off to the dentist later to get my broken tooth seen to - if it's expensive, do you think the marathon organisers will pay? It was their mars bars I was eating after all!
Well done all you marathoners!! Fantastic results - wish I had been there to give you all lots of encouragement and a bollocking for GBM.
Instead me and Mowgli were getting assessed for our Level 3 and pleased to report that we both passed so a HUGE THANKS to all of you for letting us practise on you.
Minnie - Isaac only had to do a 14 miler if he had done the sensible thing and not done Snowdonia!! Anyway - he has been asking for ways of making sure he doesn't slow down at the end of marathons so I've told him to practise running when tired. I think a 14miler today will do just that!
Thanks for the contact re. GPFR-NO fell races till my back is sorted out, have yet another appt. with Dave Hindley to-morrow. I found i can run in a straight line, bends, up and down hills are a small problem but i'm trying to persevere. How's the job.
o dear! trust my dad to have the worst picture! he's so embarassing! if you hadn't guessed lil'big kwaka home from uni for the week to annoy you all! and v proud of ST for mentally pb'ing! (education!I'm a better nurse!)
Good showing from the Harriers on the highlights programme. I saw Isaac, Minnie, Simon Heys, Mickey6, Andy Titley and a couple of other harriers that i don't know the name of, BUT NO ME!!! I thought that the shot of me sprinting across the top of the hill at about mile 24 would have been the highlight of the show! SACK THE EDITOR!!!

Well done, Kwaka - don't worry, I'll get the stuff off you at the track - no hurry as long as I have it by the weekend.
J8 - I couldn't have gone any faster before the hill!
Not sure if I'll do it next year - twice may be enough for me.
GBM - I've had a sauna, steam and cold plunge but I don't think it's helped! Will try again tomorrow evening.
Broker - Thanks for volunteering for the most crap marshalling point!!!!!!
GBM - If you can record the Mara highlights on S4C, that would be good. Virgin dont do S4C unless you live in Wales.

I imagine clairster will be well chuffed with a sub-4
and was FOAR expecting to go that quick?
Kwaka - sorry, but I can't resist: It's That Man Again!
Mine and Mrs GBMs haven't yet though. Hopefully today!!!!
Well done PG and Mowgli - that means lots more hard sessions for us on the track now!
I spotted Isaac on the race highlights - looked like he was just popping to the loo before the race! Also saw Andy Titley and me!
Sorry, GBM - didn't see you either! My legs are feeling a bit better - had another sauna last night.
My tooth only cost me £15 - thank goodness!
