HI there
The race director has asked me to plug this event as he does not have internet acces during the daytime. So here goes
This is a low key but excellent race starting from and finishing at Minis Bay on the Thanet Coast. All abilities are welcome and can be entered as a team of 2 (1 to do both runs and 1 to cycle) or as an individual.
A shortish course but challenging due to the terrain.
1st run approx 3m on road, Bike 2 laps each approx 4.5m cross country (and usuall very muddy I fell off twice last year), final run 1 lap of the cross country course with some extra mud and a couple of small hills thrown in just before the finish.

) It's one of the events plugged within my club (Ashford Tri) so you should have a few of us racing in ATC blue...

I did this when it was just a bike run, great fun and lots of mud, I think I spent more time pushing my bike than riding it

Oh yes - the dykes are one of the highlights for marshals - we have a waiting list of volunteers!!!
There will be entries on the day but it does make life easier for all if you can pre-enter.

Hey guys!
The race director for this one is panicking - he's ordered 120 sweatshirts but only had 37 entries so far - please plug and try and persuade people to pre-enter to save his sanity!! It is such an excellent event
just turning off the email response as I wont be back at work until after the new year. I will drop in here over the holiday but do not wont 500 emails sitting in my in box when I get back to work

Was out running the XC part of the course today - absolutely stunning in the sunshine - come on people enter you know you want to!!
Gave the bike a mini service last night. New brake blocks, tyres and tubes, oiled and lubed the moving bits. Rear bearing is noisy but it has been for years so I can live with that
