If anyone is in the East Mids the traditional Xmas ride is on Thursday - 9am at Leisure Lakes in Breaston or 9.30 at The Broadway pub, Duffield Rd, Derby. Route is up Wirksworth, Bakewell, Chatsworth, Beeley.
KK, Tough Love is an excellent DVD. It's easy enough to do a section of it, if you haven't got 3 hours to spare, or just go for it all in one go. I have managed to do the whole lot in one go......... but only once!

I don't think I'll be trying to top that. Poor person who did it!
you've got good determination KK! Today I did 31 minutes...WOW!
Have done 2 hours with no problem.
Arctic, if you are serious about cycling and want to spend more time on the turbo, Spinervals are great.
You can start with the Aerobase ones then progress to Tough Love and then to Hardcore (the 5 hours long).
You can see clips of them on www.spinervals.com.
*off to break tritalk's 9h record*
Just done 3.5 hours. Still chilly in the garage, but not too bad. Gangs of New York and first 2 episodes of Phoenix Nights series 1.
Looking forward to hopefully get outside on boxingday though, when I'll be able to test my new Polar CS600.

The Aerobase Compilation is around 2h (I think 2h 6min). It can easily be done if you follow Coach Troy's advice and keep your HR at the aerobic zone.
Ok I have used the turbo trainer 3 times!!!!! But it's just sooooooo much better be outdoors and having teh wind on my face, all worries disappear.
But I must say the turbo looks good in the kitchen, everyone comments on it!

Mine will live in diffrent places.
I may even play on my turbo trainer again tomorrow as I have the kids back home!
