Just back from 21.4 miles in just over 2:41, with some PMP thrown in. Just a 10 hour shift at 16:00 to do and I can rest
Well I will try my best to keep the tears in (as I have been doing pretty much since my mum died, practically mastered the art bottling up now I have!) but I don't know about actual race day & particularly finishing.
When I finished the FLM ages ago my mum was already in tears & threw her arms around me when I crossed the finish as she saw me sprint round the corner & was very proud (soppy ol bird she was!), so I think it might be a bit strange her not being there & the fact that I'm doing this purely for her might just overwhelm me a little!.......but we shall see, I might still be the little hard nut I am now

There is definitely a joke in there somewhere Joe but I `m not going there on here.
The voices will still be there Morgs if you skip the tablitz for a couple of days before the race..........but not as good as muzik.
I meant the music voices SM...the other ones are there anyway.

Anybody got any good tips for the Grand National?
SM...have you got either a cat or a dog or other small furry friend?...get a newspaper with a grand national rider listing and open it out on the floor...then plonk said furry friend on the paper and whatever hoss his/hers frontest paw is on...theres your tip...worked for me one year...Romany King...came in 3rd...had an each way on it

Lovely run...5.1 miles at 10.11 pace...foot fine and dandy...10 planned for Sunday but contemplating 12...dunno

Do not take notice of junk mail`cos it dunt wurk (somebody told me)....still only 9 inches and should be twelve by now.......and the watches aren`t reel gold.

An irishman in work tipped Mr Pointment too. A man he knows got told by somebody who met a jockey in a pub that the jockey said he knew the trainer was putting his own money on him to win.
I'm thinking of investing the life savings.
