Oh Hipps!!!!!!!!!!! We've all been pacing the floors in worry!
Thanks tho
Poor Shades, sounds like she is taking a bit of a pommelling! Still 6:07 is still a fair time. Mind you, the light at the end of the tunnel must be visible so it's a case of mind over matter now. Keep plugging away Shades, we are all willing you on.
What am I saying, Shades will be down the pub having some restorative carbs I imagine.
Thank Hipps. I'd say skip the fish soup and go straight for the chips! Any idea what Michelle did?
I think because this is so hardcore is the reason why it's so compelling. Oh crikey, does that mean there's an ultra lurking in me somewhere. Oh I hope not!
Well done Shades, another brilliant time. Hope the calf is responding for whatevery treatment you decide to give it. Enjoy your chips - heaps of them - you can eat whatever you like
Good luck for tomorrow, at least the weather is getting cooler now.
Hi Shades - get tomorrow over and then you are starting the 'triple' (but without the travelling in between!). I'm guessing (like others) that tomorrow's marathon will be difficult, but then the finish will be in sight and things will become easier (you can reprimand me afterwards if this isn't the case).
I was thinking about you at my club run tonight, and was chatting with a couple of clubmates who know you, and know of this challenge. Like myself, they have nothing but total respect and admiration for you and the others. My thoughts are with you and hope you get properly refuelled tonight and have a good night's sleep. Keep ticking off the miles, and I wish I was able to be there on Sunday to congratulate you in person.
((((Shades)))) - You can do this!!! I have the utmost respect for what you are doing. Fingers crossed the calf responds to treatment and you get a good night's sleep and a good run tomorrow.
Hooray it's cool today in Hampshire - hope it is around Windemere.
You'll be OK Shades. This is the bit you did the challenge for. It must be so tough - but then so are you and that's why you'll be OK .
(Hope you don't think I'm talking out of turn because I don't even know you, but I've loitered around the forums long enough to know you a bit in a forum kind of way and, like everyone else, think you're rather marvellous.)
bit cooler over in Leeds today, so hopefully windermere is too. Well done Shades, you are doing incredibly!!! Hope that your calf is magically fixed over night and doesn't give you any more trouble
You are an incredible inspiration! Looking forward to heading over to the lakes this eve, hope to catch sight of you and cheer you on and the rest of the 10 in 10 (and everyone else on Sun!!).
Fingers crossed for a nice bit of cloud and a breeze!
Take care and congrats on your amazing progress so far!
Go Shades!!! Hope your calf problem isn't anything too serious and you can run through it.
At least you've got the better weather now. Hope you're plodding round nicely and not having too many negative thoughts.
I remember you being one of the first people I 'chatted' to on this forum a few years ago and you have helped me considerably, I hope me, and the others on this thread, can now give you that same help now
