Loon but I believe George Dubya is in league with her on that one.
I heard that she'd been driving the mystery white car in the tunnel when Princess Diana was killed too. Just a rumour .... but no smoke without a smoking ban
Oh Womble, glad you're here. Meant to seek you out and wish you luck for tomorrow, so good luck for tomorrow. You've got 4:08 to beat for T1 Let me know how you get on.
Evening BDB. I don't think 'Dock' is a good word to use in front of Womble tonight
4.08? What were you doing? I can get up, showered, dressed and out of the house heading for work in less than that time .... and I have considerably more hair than you
Thrice? You have 3 feet? Gawd, you keep that well hidden. Awkward for shoe buying I'd have thought.
You've obviously never seen me wake at 7.45 with the sudden realisation that I'd said I'd open up at 8. I am so much better at working late than promising to get in early.
A-ha! It's a rare occasion I can pick you up on grammer type stuff and that so I'll make the most of it. Thrice refers to instances, not physical quantity. So, I was drying any multipals of feet three times. I think my post made that quite clear
Not this time Cookie. I am just rubbish at getting out of bed in the morning ... 'cept for catching early planes when I'm off to play. 4.30 alarm for a 5.30 taxi no problem then
I was in the pool so long, I think I'd absorbed half of the the water which then ran down my legs after each time I dried my feet! I'm told the next wave paddled.
And as for the gel and gloves, one has standards you know.
There I was thinking I shouldn't really need 4 hours and 8 minutes for transition. The plan is to wear P*r*t* kit under wetsuit, so T1 is put on shoes and socks, helmet, gloves, sunglasses, number belt and go. You have to take off wetsuit as you get out of water. T2 is park bike, take off helmet, tie up hair, take off gloves and go.
Good luck for tomorrow Womble. You'll be fine as long as you don't get muddled. plod splash pedal will make for entertaining spectating but might not work so well. Have fun! x

Obviously not .... global warming, credit crunch, oil prices, Princess Diana ... you've been busy. Better have a lie down before you exhaust yourself.
Oh and did I mention how traumatised I am and how I'll need counselling and probably a face lift and a place in the witness protection programme?
Probably Womble but best wait until after it has happened .... which it won't!
Good Luck! Pop in tomorrow night and let us know how you get on. If you drown can you ask the Frog to let us know

In the words of Dixon of Dock Green, Evenin' all.

Hi TP.
It's minutes and seconds you know!
Had to dry my feet. Thrice! Gel, water, helmet, sunglasses and gloves seem to take me forever to put on. It all takes time.
Thrice? You have 3 feet? Gawd, you keep that well hidden. Awkward for shoe buying I'd have thought.

Have a good one, Womble
BDB , did you have to pick which pair of gloves went with which helmet
Is it some sort of religious ritual? Drying each foot 3 times. Were there vestal virgins involved?
You could have saved time by not putting on gel. No point if you're putting a bike helmet on your head. Gives nasty hat hair that does.
I was in the pool so long, I think I'd absorbed half of the the water which then ran down my legs after each time I dried my feet! I'm told the next wave paddled.

I'm sure you just took so long in order to give yourself an easy way of saving time for the next one.
No something I'll ever experience as I don't do swimming. Paddling is more my thing.

Easy????

T2 is easy Womble, but thanks for reminding me about number belt in T1, that's another minute for me at least
Right. Faffing nearly complete. Can of beer almost done. Will say goodnight.
I'm going outside. I may be sometime.
