Not bad, thanks, TP. Only 30 emails waiting for me, unlike in my old job where I used to average 50 a day in the inbox whenever I was away from the office. It was good to be able to just get back to work rather than sift through the rubbish!
Haven't slept well for the last few nights either, which isn't like me at all. Had the most horrible nightmare on Sat night, woke up screaming (which must have entertained the neighbours) at 4am. Thankfully the Archery at the Olympics lulled me back to sleep, very soothing commentary.
oooh that's not like you at all, TP - do you have something on your mind?
Last night my dream involved me being kidnapped by some very nasty people and ended with me having to administer the lethal injection to the ringleader, who then turned into an 18 month old toddler, and I kept saying "but he's too young to be the kidnapper" and they made me inject him anyway.
Very odd. I woke up feeling that I had done something terribly wrong.
Nothing in particular on my mind that I can think of. I was being kidnapped too and held hostage at knifepoint but I was watching from a doorway as somebody else... if that makes sense. Person at door begging the woman not to kill me but she wouldn't listen and started slicing away at me ..... could hear sceaming .... it was me
TP, that's horrid. But how weird that we both dreamt of being kidnapped!
Hi, Mac - Turkey was great, thank you. Our first time there, and we really loved it. Food was great - all fresh, organic and plenty of fruit and veg, so healthy diet. We were by the sea and did lots of water sports, so didn't do much other sight seeing.
Sounds like a shopping opportunity to me ST .... and I've never been known to refuse one of those. Does it have to be white UH, could I not have a pink one?

<pours rose for TP and tea for self>

It doesn't half feel cold, though!
<snuggles into fluffy blanket>
Excellent result on the e-mails ST.
<tucks hot wheaty bag at ST's feet>
I'm finding it a bit chilly and I haven't even been anywhere warm.
It's just a miserable British summer, as per usual, isn't it?
Early bed tonight, I think. Had weird dreams last night and didn't have a very refreshing night's sleep, really.

Hi TP , BDB , Sweetest,
Sweetest how was Turkey ? How was the food and sights ?

How are you?
Off to the psych with both of you
Well, on the basis that dreams are supposed to signify the opposite, clearly both TP and I are feeling particularly liberated
You are such a tease, UH
I think that white is usual. Has anyone heard from LT lately ?
Bedtime for me - KKNN, lovely pubworld xx
<clears out tumbleweeds>
<turns on telly for Olympic highlights>
<snuggles down amidst the tumbleweed and makes a pillow>
Tumbleweed makes an itchy pillow
<passes feather filled pillow with fleecy warm cover>
sweeps tumbleweed away on way to bed
loving my red button - olympics all night!
<opens one eye>
Well I could be persuaded if all the rose hasn't been quaffed........
I've lost my swimming goggles.
I loved those goggles - they are no use to anyone else cos they have prescription lenses in them - who could have them?
Flamin Nora!
<pours couple of glasses of rose>
There would appear to be an endless supply of the stuff what a hardship
Night PS. I'm loving the Olympics too.
At the risk of sounding like my mother ..... they'll be where you left them JB
My guess would be left at swimming pool or stuck down the back of seat/under seat in car.
I don't have your goggles, JB, but what I do have is....
