2 weeks after the Vasectomy, having not tested the remaining ammunition for live ones., the wife had a c-section(child 3.): The doc said to her twice, while we have you opened up we can tie up your tubes for you. No we said this stupid looking Welsh husband next had a vasectomy two weeks ago!! So no need.
The doctor(female) looked at me like I was a superhero as a vasectomy in Italy is as rare as The Popes Offsprings.
I still could cry about it now, 4 years later.
I agree IW´s first comment did have the taste of Oysters too it!(so I´m told.....cough)
I dunno - ever since I had my vas I haven't seen any less in the way of "mess". having a vas only takes away the wigglywigglers not the seminal fluid......
still not quite in the Peter North league though......
that reminds me of my male friend of mine who once commented on the taste, when questions as to how he knew, he replied "i was young, i didnt fully understand trajectory"
vegan's do not eat animal products on the grounds of the suffereing caused to obtain them. i'm not sure that ejaculate really falls in to that category! (except, perhaps for GSPORT )
well, i was specifially thinking honey and also wondering whether milking is always cruel, i accept (on the basis that you told me so in Lanza!) that dairly farming is cruel, but is milking a cow always cruel?
but surely cows are just like humans..............if you stop milking them then they will stop producing it so would only be painful for a short period JJ.......
I wouldn't like to be milked everyday just to save some money on the shopping bill
If you milked a high yielding cow 3 x a day, she would produce more milk than if her calf suckled her. But mellifera's point I think was more along the lines of the calf having to be seperated from its mum and either eaten, or raised from a bucket. I dont consider either cruel, but we're entitled to differ here.
Not sure what, if much, about sheep rearing is cruel though... no AI, no seperation, very little "pressure" to produce large numbers of offspring as 2 is the norm for a mules and they cant really raise 3....

Not really. She'd get mastitis and it would be pretty painful. Once they're in full lactation you have to dry them off gradually till they are producing less, then you can stop.
Isn't the problem with sheep the fact they did not naturally have lots of wool...we bred them that way so its got to the point if we don't shear them then they can die if they fall over because the wool is too heavy for some of them to right themselves.................anyway thats what they said in the Bidg Sheep

They would be very thin otherwise.

'tis quite a good excuse though.
not that many - honey perhaps.
dairy would be out (where to the offspring go).
eggs possibly ok but they would need to be free range and vegans agree that this creates the potential for fertilisation.
what did you have in mind?
Have you ever seen a cow that's overdue for its milking??

i can understand someone thinking that dairy farming is cruel, i was just wondering if that means that milking is always cruel.
