I got in Tudor House B&B quite late, but I got the race number from another forumee and this was the B&B that she had cancelled. Might be worth a call though. Don't know what its like yet, so can't recommend it yet. Sounds like a nice friendly place.
oh bum (sorry) wont make Marine as will have to walk from the finish to the pub and be near enough to the finish to stagger back to welcome Mrs F when she finishes some 2 hours later.
Have a great run everyone and do say hello as you pass anyone wearing a Thaner Roadrunners vest it just might be me
When I entered I still had the remains of Plantar Fasciitus from the year before and so was going to walk the whole thing (it will be my 4th BHM). But the PF has finally cleared up and I have just completed two long runs with no discomfort, so now I'm really excited as I might be able to run half to three quarters of this great race. Still expecting to walk up the hills to save what little stamina I have for the rest. First long distance race that isn't a triathlon for 18 months brings back all the anticipation.
Anyway as long as it is a tail wind on the seven sisters (forecast says south westerly) it can't be too bad, just reasonably bad. Good luck all.

I have a bright pink buff,
what does the JW ultra one look like Birdy?
I shall be wearing other clothing - sounds a bit nippy for a naturist run.
B - if you're on the downhill just before CP1 I'll be the blurry bloke. Love that downhill!
Righty, I'm orf 'ome to get ready.
see you on the start line
Good luck everyone
There'll be plenty of that Shimmy!!
Relented and have chucked the pirate buff in the case too. Already got the Loch Ness beanie in there.
yep - in fact I think there's only the marshalls at the gate above the Long Man between us....
we're going to bike up if the weather's "not too bad" (fingers crossed!) otherwise park in Litlington and walk up.........
Is this still on then..............................
Right, it now looks like I dont have any transport, so we will not be driving up in the morning.
I suppose I must try and get there tonight. So, any advice anyone???? Like is the train station handy, or where to stay.....I have a bed for tomorrow.
