Hi,
Anyone have any advice with keeping earphones in my ears whilst running?
Firstly i had the cables outside my tshirt but when they fell out it was a health hazard not getting them caught up in my legs.... so currently im running the cable under the back of my tshirt and headphones out the back via the back of my collar. However the earphones keep falling out every 10seconds im spending forever putting them back in. The cable seems to pull downwards all the time forcing them out.
Any advice on how to keep them nice and snug in my ears so i can actually enjoy my run and not worrying about when they are next going to fall out.
P.s i dont really like the big over the head headphone style.

think you may be best off getting a better fitting pair...some sports ones have different sized ear peices so you can swap them about, either that or the ones that clip round your ear a bit like a hands free mobile thingy....
or...go without....I tend to only bother with mine on long runs now if at all...
I got some sennheiser (?) ones which have different size rubbery bits - I believe phillips do them to. Went for tightest fit run up front of vestto left then RH longer cable ear plug goes round back of neck.
Failing that ...glue?

Have look at these
Apple headphones don't stay in my ears when I'm stationary let alone on the move.
For running I use these. I don't know I'm wearing them most of the time.
These are my favourite type ... never have got on too well with any other type and find the full loop around the ear helps things stay in place.
Earphones
sweatband over your ears to hold the buds in place?
EDIT: Just seen this link on the RW Facebook page -http://ow.ly/5geWK
Got a pair of these - they work fine for me. Because of the design, if I am not in too noisy an area, the buds don't even have to be fully inserted but still work fine

i) fit the earphone snugly in your ear
ii) route the cable around the front of your ear and over the top to the back
Keep the cable fairly taught, and the earphone tends to stay in place.
I found the cheapest single stereo to mono earpiece on eBay so as to be able to hear traffic, also an extremely cheap but very lightweight mp3 player.

(Is it ok to post links?)
I've also struggled to find a pair that will stay connected smoothly to a gear fit2, and have longer than 2 hours battery life. So much trouble finding the right earphones!
