Holly was pretty good, quite tough choreography and she obviously doesn't find the fast stuff easy
Right where's that list of stuff to get rid of? We need to add the stupid films they do instead of showing training, and Jennifer Grey, and just check that Bruce is definitely on there...
I thought she looked like someone who has been drinking and is struggling really hard to pretend she hadn't.
At one point she even waved the 8 and was laughing at her own lack of imagination. I'd love to be a fly on the wall when Craig got back stage with her.
I haven't seen the spoiler!! *fingers in ears*... I like the suspense!!
Ummm....lots of "meh" last night - JG was just pointless, she liked everyone. My 7 year old said "she likes everyone, that's not judging!". I still think it's hard to tell if she's the real JG anyway..
Worst of the night for me was Audley. Not least because the endless fist-waving and boxing references and getting soooooo tired. You don't hear Chelseeee going on and on and on about Waterloo Road, do you?! Audley - SHUSH!! Bad dancing too. Lulu was of course her usual dreadful self (she sang. AARGHHHHHH!!!). I want an x-factor-style double elimination of them both to go home.
Anita's dress was gorgeous, enjoyed her dance. I thought that Anita, Chelsee and Holly all did great jobs of what looked like very fast and complicated dances. Poor Artem though, his poorly leg I hope he's okay.
Harry was good again but I don't know why he's not better. Feels like he should be incredible, he's clearly capable of it. Aliona's choreography, maybe? Jason did a good job of an awful dance, I really do hate the rhoomba (as Tess says it).
I love that they're managing to get all of Holly's Very Impressive mates involved though. Princess Bea, Ron Dennis, David Walliams..... must be a bugger to figure out what to get everyone for Christmas.
Chelseee to win. Because I think I love Pasha's deadpan humour.
Just looked at the spoiler, just CBA sitting through the best part of an hour of padding. trouble is, just occasionally I'll missamazing things like Vincent and Flavia's Argentine tango - guess there's always iPlayer
No real standout dance for me from last night. Anita's Charleston was probably my fave. She just seemed to love it and it really suited her.
Getting a bit bored with Russell now. Flavia - please do some proper dancing with him next week (beacuse we all know he won't be leaving).
Robbie is pretty much guarantteed to get to Wembly as he said he'll get his mate Robbie Williams to come along if he does. Now there's someone I'd like to see compete in Strictly!
JG - botoxed into incoherence, maybe? Anthing beyond "you were wonderful" was so obviously scripted.
And will somone please buy Tess a decent bra?
As Nancy has now gone: LULU FOR THE PATIO!
PS: I haven't seen Dirty Dancing either. Or Flashdance. Or Footloose. Hard to believe I was a teenager in the 80's!
I missed all but the last few minutes of the show but was in time to cheer the result
Apparently Artem has fecked his back - in which case he has my sincere sympathy, cos I wouldn't even consider any sort of dancing with mine, a gentle walk as is good as it gets these days!

She was pretty useless, don't invite her back if we have to lose one of the judges again!
I loved Holly's costume, wonder what their ending would have been if Artem hadn't buggered his leg?
I think Jason was quite harshly marked, Chelsee a bit overmarked.
I agree about JG - an empty seat would have been better!
I think they started off marking Lulu a bit high and/or undermarking some of the others. Jason's rumba wasn't bad but certainly not his best dance.
I've never seen Dirty Dancing either ...
And come back Len, all is forgiven.
I thought JG consistently overmarked and her comments were for the most part not particularly constructive. Waste of space.

Nope
What has Artem done to his leg? He looked in a lot of pain as he went up the stairs after their routine.

I missed last night's episode completely...took H and 5 teens to a bonfire party.
Artem's got a bad leg? <warms hands> Just how high up his leg is the injury?
I've seen the spoiler...all I can say is...
Not seen Footloose or Dirty Dancing? Off to Blockbusters you go!
Footloose is great, I wanted to try the balancing on two car windows while they were driving.
<<hangs head in shame>>
That's my post-Strictly viewing sorted, anyway!
...and have we looked at the spolier thread?
...I have
Late again!
Trying to put dinner on and hand-wash a rug that cat had fireworks related accident on
I have armed myself with dodgy blackberry licquer and bitter lemon drink to stop me yelling at Jennifer Grey...
Cheers
Just when I'd got the dogs settled after the neighbour's firework party .................
........the loudest cheers emanating from all corners of the thread set 'em off again.
Hmph and HOORAY!!
That was a bit of a surprise
LOL, Kwilter! I wouldn't still be here if I tried to wash my cat!
Hope Artem recovers in time for next week. He seems a bit fragile for a "tough Russian"
