Going back to the Nigel Mansell analogy that is exactly what I meant to explain I felt was missing with Harry and Holly..........
..........bland in the flesh..
.......but also when they dance there's no "wow" for me
The best dances for me have been the ones where I find at the end I've been holding my breath without realising it or ignoring someone speaking to me because I've been captivated by what I was watching............. hasn't happened yet this year
Technically good but without that added "je ne sais quoi"
For me it's whether you want to rewind the dance and watch it again. So far I've only done this for Chelsee and Pasha's QS and Holly and Artem's AS and Jive.
I did also do it for Holly and Brendan's Rumba but that was because there was a v. odd move in it and I wanted to see if it was still ugly second time round
I thought Robin had to spend a couple of days with his foot elevated so I suppose that means even choreographing is impossible? I agree that sympathy should keep Anita out of the bottom two. Brenita is a cool name
Robbie has Samba - dance of doom!!! And Ola has already played her catsuit card...
If Artem really is putting a lift in the Foxtrot then I'd imagine Len will make an example of him after his comments last week. It seems a bit stupid of Artem to do it deliberately unless he's hoping the public will vote more out of sympathy?
Suspect Artem insisted. Robin probably not that forceful.
Don't get me wrong, nothing nasty intended here or any discrimination of any sort but it does make me smile that somebody who looks like a bouncer sounds like Dale Winton
If Robbie has Samba then I think he has probably got the wrong dance at precisely the wrong time. He will struggle with that I suspect and could be a goner but depends what the public do. Foreigners often struggle to get votes but Aussies don;'t really count especially when they are based here but not sure the voting will sustain two of them. Holly could be at risk unless she ups her game. I am with Bruno on this, you feel she is actually capable of much more.
Her other option is to wear the mini-skirt and boots... have I mentioned that before. Um perhaps it is becoming a bit of a fixation .
Talking of show dances, I have been doing some "you-tubing", the one's I remember are Mark & Karen - maybe because I loved them so much! Darren & Jill - because she was such a fantastic dancer and great partnership (pity that Denise was up against her otherwise she would have been a winner) and Tom & Camilla's - they weren't my faces but I have to say that was an outstanding show dance. I think I prefer the ballroom based dances rather than the Latin.
I think that Robin is immobilised for a couple of days? It appears though that Brendan is being firm with Anita and she seems to be coping with it quite well.
A side note re Anita; on the Sunday show there was a quick shot of Brian May giving her a hug and there seemed to be such a 'look of love' between them I thought it was lovely (I know I'm being a wuss )

Yep, but somehow it looked more graceful for those two!
Any predictions for the bottom two? I'm guessing Robbie and Holly.
Could be, Anita should be safe with the sympathy vote
After last night's ITT it appears that Brendan is in sole charge of Team Brenita, with Robin having no part.
Is Robin too poorly to do an Artem, or has Brendan put his foot down?
Not sure how poorly you can be with a "bad foot".........
Sounds more like Brendan wants a bit more control...........and I can see where he's coming from!!

I know what you mean re Robin BtB
And I have to say I think i prefer Robin to Artem - sorry but probably my fave is Pasha although he's far too young for me of course

There you go, Podds
Evening
I thought that was pretty good with a new partner
*snaffles a cornetto* thanks
Same here, Saffy!
I enjoyed Alex's charleston, even though technicalities were missing
Evening and evening Sluggie!
*proffers steel toe cap boots for hubby*
I was just thinking that I think he's a bit of a knob now, esp with the football shorts.
I think they had a bit of plastic left over after they did her boobs, Saffy.
That dance was intricate and precise, but I'm surprised she couldn't act 'passion'.
Yes, I enjoyed that too.
Now, let's see if Harry's found a personality during the week...........
I thought Robbie's shorts looked ridiculous.
Jason was good. I didn't think Alex was as bad as the judges said.
