I was once barred from a pub for being underage, after they'd served me. I was 21. Someone in the beer garden must've complained I looked too young. They took my pint off me.
Wagamama - wishy, washy noodles. I'd much rather support a local independent noodle bar ... and do! I only went to W once because a friend was treating me to lunch and it was her choice.
I'd never heard of wagamama. You learn something new every day. From the description I'm not likely to darken their doorstep anytime soon. Especially if they don't serve pasties.
I like WM and to be fair, it doesn't claim to be authentic Japanese cuisine. And I've usually had decent service too. But a wee skidmark is a quality insult
I don't think I've ever been barred. I've a friend who's ambition is to be thrown out of an Aberdeen Steak House. I'm not sure if she's been brave enough to actually go into one and eat any of their food though.
I really shouldn't get into a discussion about this
BUT
BDB - I've never seen anywhere that Wagamama's hasn't said that it wasn't authentic Japanese food, apart from the blurb on their website I've just had a look at now where they say are "Japanese inspired." I still don't like it though,.
For the price though, and in central London, I think WM is good value, tasty and relatively wholesome.
Me too, although I was disappointed not to see salmon rahman on the menu last time I was there.
I got kicked out of an Isle of Wight B&B many years ago on a cricket tour. I thought it was a bit harsh cos it was my dad who set off the burglar alarm trying to let me back in at 3am after a big night out. On the other hand, the night before I had helped one of the other guys put someone's bed out on the roof, so maybe it was a second bookable offence.

argument over the bill. i called the head waiter a wee skidmark and the owner a robbin' bastard.
I've always been a good girl so not barred from anywhere
its ok. i go to nana kusa instead and their sushi is better
What is wagamama?
Btw ... I'm banned from B&Q. I was in there once and the manager asked me if I wanted decking. I thought I'd better get mine in first.
(Thank you, I'm here all week)
hahaha.................................haha.............................ha..................*cough*
japanese restaurant chain with crap staff.
im also barred from Lazer Quest in Dundee.
got a bit carried away and hit a child over the head.
Wagamama's probably would, albeit a 'Japanese' version,.

I'm confused with the double negative LN
Does somewhere need to say that they aren't authentic? I never thought they were but did assume they were themed/inspired.
Just as I know my local Indian and Chinesse restaurants aren't authentic, nor Yo-Shushi, MacDonalds, Pizza Express etc.

Another time, another place BDB I'll answer this and not on your birthday as well. I'm keeping shut today.
