Its really hard for women to loose weight and relatively easy for men. Female bodies just store that fat like nuts for the winter ( look at those mixed metaphors fly!)
Between 16-18 I was a little tubby, 13-14 stone.By 21 I was 10.5 stone. Never really sweated it. Still got laid at college Just decided to eat right and do a little excersise. One girl who had last seen me when I was 11.5 stone called me aside at a party and wanted to know if I was "ok" because she had seen I had lost weight. I explained I was not anorexic, but just doing the right thing food and excercise wise. I wasnt even a vegetarian then.
Guinnea- Bissaua. Haven't a clue where that is, but it seems to be at the lower end of the scale so I suppose that's a good thing ! (DJ 53 and 5'10", 11 stone 2).
Looking at the table, I'm not surprised at some of the countries at the top of the BMI league - Tonga, Samoa, USA etc. However, I an surprised at Croatia being 3rd - why Croatia ??
Its a country in West Africa to be exact. It was called the Kingdom of Dahomey Famous for two things. These which are mostly in the British Museum and the fact that almost every black person you might meet born in North America, the Caribbean, or South America (or who is a desendant in total or in part of those people, if born elsewhere) has ancestors who where sold as slaves from that kingdoms ports.

At BMI 25 I'm lower BMI than 80 per cent of blokes in my age group in the UK and lower than 51 per cent globally.
