first week went to pot. just didn't make the effort. really. need to find a new job. nearly built the travel bike. technical issues with the chain dropping when the pressure is applied.
second week went very well. solid work, almost every day. too much turbo/treadmil but treadmill on hill jog mode and sufferfest turbo made the most of it.
scores on the doors as of 25/7 : 19 - 10. thats another 3lb of lard lost.
progress is still slow. need to solve the gear issues.
working week to week : a good week is 6 days out of last seven with training. an ok week is 4 / 7 and anything else is shit. and -ve lbs position every week or its shit.
last three broken down : Shit. Great. OK. -ve lbs every week.
hungry all the time. but getting less lardy slowly. getting used to it mind. good habits forming.
Lard, you don't necessarily need to be hungry all the time to lose weight, if you log (via something like myfitnesspal) and see proportion of carbs/fat/protein you may be able to tweak it slightly to make you feel more full, I found if I eat mostly carbs I tend to get hungry quite quickly but with a higher protein intake I feel much more full for the same amount of overall calories. Might be worth taking a look at?
a good week dave - 1 missed day, and a long run later today. need to hit 6 miles again.
next week will be bitty so focusing on diet ( im on holiday with dependants so its going to have to be what I can sueeze in ). aiming for a good week though.
a little bike ride sounds like your underselling it. was it a BMX ? or as I suspect only a ouple of hours rather than half a day as normal.
Broke my running records this week 45 miles for the week, managed a four hour bike ride as well but no swimming don't see the point until I get a coach now.
I thought of Lardy boy when I was doing the Sportive on Sunday, a bit of a plus size guy riding about 10 grands worth of Spesh Venge, didn't seem to work well as although he descended quicker than me, he seemed to have to push it up every hill ! Now the 28% gradient I could accept, but he was even pushing it up 10% stuff near the end

If you're hungry all the time you're on too much of a deficit

Maybe. but its a fine line between deficit and fat bastard ( im Exhibit 1 of the later ). I
m starting to cut the timber away having fannied around with it for a year; so ill have to careful about reducing the deficit.
It's not a fine line at all it depends how quickly you expect it to happen
You ve got to keep at it. And not give up. Ever!
Runner, swimmer, cyclist and triathlete
Devoid of a competitive streak
Who cares, I'm in it for the medal!
To give up, first you need to get started
