I could only ever hope to do a marathon in about 5 hours (if I'm lucky)! Sorry to hear the last two miles weren't great though...

I will be up in Sheffield again this weekend for the rother valley tri. They have now split it into 3 start waves 5 minutes apart for the sprint and olympic distances.
That now means I get a 8:15 start and get chased by women in rubber and then lycra.

I think on saturday there is the women's only event (not sure of time) and then the mixed (apart from starts) sprint and olympic are on sunday. If you live locally the Rotherham Advertiser are sponsoring it so they may have some more details or look on the event web site.
I feel I should seeing as how I'm doing one in September!!

Sadly I'm off to Scotland again this weekend... well actually I'm off in about 10mins as I've got a wedding in Glasgow tomorrow so I won't be able to watch the tri. Would have actually been quite interested... but for ifferent reasons to aitch me thinks!
