What a great way to spend your birthday NM. Mine is 11 days later
September is a popular time for birthdays, something to do with xmas parties i believe. Both my kids were born in November which apparently has something to do with valentines day.
Next year the Vitruvian falls on my 40th birthday!
Funny how there weren't many of us at school though. You would have thought they would have had to change the school calendar!!
Now that would be really good. I am looking to do a full IM for my 45th next year!

Yep, getting it sorted now, as I have so much on this year that if I don't I will forget!
I just phoned the number 01780 460154 and asked if I could book a pitch. The person just took my name and contact number.......
Plus I wanted to make sure I got a pitch as I will be borrowing the future father-in-law's camper van
Dont we just normally turn up and take over the corner of a field, I cant remember booking (or paying) before. Actually I have paid once but usually forget.
Then there was the time (2005) when the very nice Mark from Pace Setter's (the guy that woke us all up becasue some idiot had painted the roads) let me stay in a spare cottage the organisers had spare.

I have a lot on this year, so am just getting things sorted now! So I don't have to worry about things later this year!

I haven't swum for weeks what with one thing and another. I have managed to get out on my bike quite a bit though so that is good. Only short trips of about 15 miles but they have been hilly miles
