Hey Shades, I don't normally run 10 days consecutively, let alone 10 marathons, (what about all that rest and recover malarkey?!) but thought i would do it for solidarity, so its my day 4 too and I'm feeling tired, so know you must be too! Its stonkingly hot back here in Devon - typical lake district - pe*'s it down most of the year, then just when you need some cool wet weather, its nowhere to be found!
Good luck for today, stay stong in your head - have only ever done 1 marathon (windermere last year) compared to your 150++ but know how much it helps to be ok in your head. Big hugs...
Well done Shades, and all the others, so far. I'd feel concerned about running in this heat&humidity too so what you're doing is even more amazing. Glad you got back before the storm yesterday afternoon - it sounded like a really good one to watch from down here in Kendal.
I don't want to unnecessarily increase anybody's concerns but, thus far, it feels even warmer up here this morning than it has the past few days. Hopefully, there'll be some breezes coming off the lake.
Shades - please be kind to that physio (John - the young Irish one). Once he's finished his week off looking after you lot, I need him to finish fixing me up in time to jog/walk around the Garburn Trail Challenge at the end of the month.
Hi Shades, hope you're doing OK today. It's beginning to cloud over a little here so I hope it is coming across from the west and that you got it earlier today.
I would like to think that someone took your drinks and the other guys food in error? If not, I will come and kneecap them for you!
Well done so far shades ,just keep plodding away ,hope it cools down a little for you all,you are all amazing,Im bringing my family down to see the last one on sunday,we had a great day last year the atmosphere was fantastic
