So excited but at the same time very very scared. First marathon so planning on taking it very slowly. According to my half mara pace I can do 4hrs just but aiming for 10 min miles just in case. Don't want to burn out! So if I arrive at mile 17 faster than 2h40 mins please tell me to SLOW DOWN!
Douey the nerves are all part of the fun. You'll relax into it once you get started and just enjoy the atmosphere. Def go for it if feeling good at 17!!

Douey see how you feel on the day. You'll know yourself how you feel and if you feel comfortable keep up the pace. Just remember to fuel up all the way round tho, its easy to forget in the excitment.
