have also heard from foggy that he intends just to enter and pay the extra 20 euros, after all, it isn't really very much in the total scheme of things. Must admit I'm not sure how this transfer thingy will work either.

good news folks, I was saving this for later just in case but now seems a good time to let you know, especially M.eldy, that we have an offer from a "volunteer banker" who is willing to deposit the entire lump sum entry fee for a group of entrants (up to 20) and you can pay him or her back later. I'll end up packing the extra 20 as my bank would charge me exactly that for the transfer and they won't with the CC...so I can't be bothered with the whole set up the transfer thing.

I got a colleague who's a local of that area of Nurnberg to ask around about a place to stay, food, etc
