MC - switch to www.runsaturday.com so you can track your swimming and cycling too - we can all still see what you are doing (if you want us to) as you can link it to arsebook etc. Plenty of funky graphs so you can see how much training you are not doing. Good to see the cool light of a windy morning hasn't changed your mind.
You can now add the cost of a new bike to the list of reasons why I can't back out of doing Vitruvian.... i've just bought myself a Specialised Allez.... whoops!
lets be honest.... its all prep for an Ironman on my 100th birthday
Well, forget that then, and sign up for Roth! Simple!
You will get a lot more miles per pound of bike bling bought and will therefore ultimately feel less like a spendthrift and more like a thrifty shopper!
I chose Vitruvian as its just 20mins from home, so easy for me logistically, plus I can go cycle the route and run the course etc...
I need to sit down then and work out my plan after that... if I enjoy the Vitruvian, I promise i'll have a go at a full IM... and will try and work to fit in the IM that the pirates go for... wherever that is!

Just an update..... still waiting for the Vitruvian site to open for registration, but got well hooked into Runsaturday.... thanks for the heads up PSC... its a brilliant site, and with the new iSportstracker app on iPhone, I don't really need runkeeper anymore...
Also, just discovered that you can set up a tab on your facebook profile page with all your runsaturday training on it..... there really is no hiding place...

Will upload more stuff this evening than the 2 or 3 test uploads from Runkeeper, and work out how to use the thing properly....
But does look like a really useful tool!
