Perhaps you should be the one who is reported the moderators for starting a load of BS about an obviously popular member of the forum with no evidence whatsoever.

Felociwhatsit - I've known Meldy for a few years now. Sure, she comes across as a tough cookie at times (I guess you need that to complete several Ironmans) and she tends to speak her mind. However, she is also unfailingly encouraging to those who need help, will answer the same question a dozen times over if neccessary and has seen many peeps through from complete newbie to marathon, Ironman and beyond. I don't know why you are making allegations of tolling and bullying but I can assure you that you are waaaay off the mark.

She may well be the same person who, when I was nearing the end of the Windsor Half one year and feeling the pinch of that undulating b*tch of a course helpfully said "shurrup yer winging and get on with it"!

I have seen people do TG in neopreney suits - so it can be done, but the water bit is just a tiny fraction of the race - its something like 5 mile x country first, then assault course and then they throw the water in right at the end. Best thing you can do once you get out of the water is to run to get the heat back into you. The wetsuit won't keep you much warmer in the water anyway and I'd think far too hot on the run that's >90% of the race.
BTW has anyone reported ferociwotsit for her outrageous attack on meldy and also the small matter of libel on billy wilson.
(Go on - say something bad about IMUK and see how long that stays up !)

How many people have defended Meldy here? While this could be pack mentality, it could also be a testament to Meldy and her support to fellow forumites (heavens even friendships) that so many people are willing to speak for her.
