Sorry to hear about your friend RBM Defo just take it easy for a couple of days.
Fraggle, sounds like you need to be bubblewrapped!!!
Day off for me today, which is good because i've either got DOMs from Saturday's PT sesh, or from yesterday's run. I'll know for sure tomorrow judging on how much i'm still groaning when I get up from the chair.
There's lots of stretching stuff to do also. Stretching and curling your foot. Achilles stretches etc. I'm still suffering. Have cut the running back a lot. Taking ibuprofen and doing all the right things. I'm frustrated by it so can understand how appealing the injection is.
I've just entered The Vit Unless I do a couple of sprints next year before August, this will be my first tri since Regensburg DNF in 2011 Fook. Also just worked out I'll need to start training 1 week after my marathon in April, lol, though i'll be starting to introduce some bike rides etc this year. So i hope my sock likes to be stuffed 'cos it will be getting a lot of it next year!!!
Had very easy week last week after 3 hard weeks needed a break and had a few beer events to attend, Back on it today feeling fresh 3.5 mile run this am, and 4 mile run home tonight.
Sock stuffed with a bit of biking - and it hasn't made the knees any worse - and Lea you'll be pleased to know I haven't hurt myself (though today I did manage to soak my foot with water at work, and thankfully it wasn't the sodium hydroxide solution I was making up at the time )
Should this be the I'm going to wrap myself in my sock so I don't get ill or injured thread? Have managed to avoid filling my sock with red wine this week, and am trying to get the eating back to a normal level, 12 x 300m at track tonight so will see how I'm feeling tomorrow.
Ran to work yesterday via the train station - yeah slightly strained my knee so no more running for rest of week womble that I am - just biking to and from work which is about 20k in total. Not a total loss
Fraggle, should you be allowed out on your own? Glad you didn't melt your foot off yesterday, lol!
Medicinal hugs to all those that need them! Winters coughs and colds seem to be appearing, eek.
Sock stuff with a 3 mile run before work, luckily I got back to the flat just as the rain started, and it has pi$$ed down ever since. Normally i'd have a group exercise class tonight, but i'm away with work so will miss it - can't say i'm gutted. Looking forward to a rest!!!
7am Swim today, 1st time ever at that time 1000mt F/Crawl took me 200mts to wake up, Felt great after it now sat in work and everything is stiffening up..Shoulders and arms i mean before somebody makes any wisecracks...
Kate, I love the phrase 'cycling like a loon with nowhere to go' hehehehehe. I do love spinning too, not been for ages though.....
I'm currently trying to summon the enthusiasm to go for my run. Only 1.5 miles to do, and this is the first time i've had a real 'CBA' feeling since I started my plan.
1hr puddle creating on the spin bike for me too .. 10 mins on the cross trainer to replicate a brick session and topped up to 2 hrs with weights and fannying around on a mat
I've been Cake, you can turn off the machine Can't believe how warm it is for October, was just wearing a t-shirt, so put some gloves on, but my hands were too hot!!!
Been having a bit of a break to recharge the batteries i have emptied, washed and ironed my sock and patched a few holes i eill stuff it with a whole world of Sh!t tommorrow as i have a mornings mtb in the rain on bodmin moor planned

Mrs D I've done the golf ball. It does ease it some. Seriouly considering a steroid injection in the heel to see if that helps.

90 mins run in the woods for me .. beena bit lasy Mon & Tues so time to kick my socks into action
Strangely enough, I did sort out my sock drawer earlier. I should have allocated them all a job
Spin spun earlier. Off out for a little ride soon.
At the moment all my socks have got holes in
Suffering with a chesty cough so no training until it buggers off.
My socks are loving spinning, cycling like a loon with nowhere to go. Not so keen on the swimming though.
Evening sock stuffers

Well done for conquering CBA - I did the same, it's good, isn't it?!
Plenty of running, combined with sightseeing in Helsinki. Lovely.
Did a gym bike Chrissie thing t'other night, and may have another for breakfast.
Hahaha, yeah Brit, i was worried it would be too cold, and my hands often start cold, but i would have been fine without them!
