Not good Hanster, hopefully it'll not develop further.
Long ride for me today which started well but fell apart a bit from about half way. Possibly wasn't drinking enough for the conditions and nutrition strategy went a bit off plan as well. Must be more disciplined about it
One unwelcome feature was the return of the hot spot in my left foot. Managed to wriggle it out initially but it returned with a vengance a few miles further on.
Yes, like someone sticking a knife up through the bottom of your foot. First time it's made an appearance this season and I'm not sure why.
Hey Trogs, have you checked that out with a good Sports Physio? I'm not one, before you hold any credence to what I'm saying, but I've had that pain before too and it's a super mega tight plantar fascia that caused mine. Linked to my ever-present achilles injuries and increased training load. Physio and a golf ball sorted it out.

No, never seen anyone about it apart from talking to my LBS. First time it happened I think it was down to my shoes being too narrow, a new pair seemed to do the job. Oddly before I went out today I thought about rolling the bottom of my foot cos I've not done it for a while but didn't. Dug out the golf ball when I got home but the foot didn't actually seem that tight. Will be rolling it regularly from now on though.
I had a good weekend, 105 miles biking on the Saturday, then a hours swim followed by 30 miles on bike on Sunday, all felt good, should probably have thrown in some running.
Hour on the turbo this morning and 2.5k swim tonight in the quays. Absolutely loving the Open Water swimming. Saw on his blog today Andy Holgate is doing Bolton. Nice to hear as his books got the idea rolling in my head last summer!!
