used to be able 2 when i did various martial arts - dont do nearly as much stretching as i used to

Oooooo - my rotten instructor always used to make me spar with a huge bloke, just coz I was the only one who could get anywhere near his head with my feet!
(By huge I mean over six foot. He was carp, too, but made me look good! heh)

LOL you have to mix in a bit of speed work every now and then - variety produces best results i find
long and slow
fast and hard
and so on...

Anyway - most men are sprinters - very few could last the distance of anything more than a mad dash
