Anywho... so, has anyone found an effective way to get their pedals off without a monster wrench? Alan keys were mentioned, but after a brief trial proved to be almost perfectly useless.

EIther a spanner or allen key, or both. Make sure you are turning hte right way. One of the pedals is threaded the opposite way to normal to stop it falling off when you are cycling

tip with pedals - don't tighten them too much and use anti-binding compound........or they are right feckers to get off...............one of my MTB ones is seized solid........
