Hi Guys. Good luck all with the race. Just popped in to say "Well done West Ham!" to Guy. He must be over the moon at being able to give 6 points each to Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal, Liver pool, etc etc, next season. Such a generous soul that Guy!

Edinburgh marathon for me a week on Sun. On target for a sub3. But I always say that eh!

Guy - a bit gutted with the league result, but lets get things in perspective. Mrs O'Neill. Life, death. Up here, we all know what was/is the right thing to do. And MON did it. All respect to him. Anyway, we won the Scottish Cup (terrible game, lucky result!), and after qualification (a foregone conclusion methinks!) we are seeded in the second pot for CL next year.
Horrible things lined up for Carpet involving lap-dancing, kebabs, and vomit. Hope he doesnt read this!

Rach I'm glad someones fitness is improving while mine idles in the doldrums. You know I've always thought you had potential!

Pathfinder there's no way you will tempt me to run the 20k, if I manage less than 50 mins for the 10k just now I'll be happy!

JB - will probably be, but with a different lady this time, although with Rach's improved times since a year ago, one never knows; it might be with two ladies.

Well I reckon 50.00mins + for me if it's hot, 48/49mins if it's like last year....and sub 45mins if it's really cold...there, that's me sticking my neck out. Of course it wont be cold so I'm perfectly safe!

jelly you cheeky sod! That's six minutes down on last year's time if it happens!! And the intervals are going very well indeed. I'm most impressive these days on anything up to 1km..... 20 of em might be a different matter though!

Morning all, it's been a while! My training isn't going fantastically well, so I'm not expecting to break records.

Coupled with the predicted heat, I am going to aim for around 1hr 38.

Guy, sorry to hear about your knee playing up again, if it's any consolation, mine is alright now.....(sorry, very crude).
