Funk - 18:03 5k time predicts 2:56 marathon time
In 2007 I was running Sizzlers in just over 18min after doing 2:50 at London. Reckon if you can scrape under 18min at the next one and stay injury free up to Berlin you will see a big pb.

JMC, I see you were on the slow boil last night. You will have to run faster than that to beat me next time we race. Been concentrating on a "smoking" last 400 off a fast pace so watch your back.

I hope I can push a little harder at the next sizzler and get another pb. I deffo know that I am not a sub 3 mara runner, but it would be nice to get a pb at Berlin....and deffo know that I am not the next NI...

Thanks for the run Funk/RC I ended up doing 14 miles, I went back along the canal
Can't remember last time I was as drunk as last night. In fact most people looked a bit worse for wear at the end of the night. Hope heads not too sore.
AM - My head is not too sore but I tend to deteriorate as the day goes on. There was definately a negative split on the drinking. Steady start followed by a sprint finish !
Expect tomorrow's run to be a bit a struggle.
