ES- apologies for that, but at 6:03 equivilant miling I would only have stayed with you for about 1 mile, realised this morning I am just not feeling it at the moment.
Not coming tonight, gave NI the message, feeling a bit under the weather, sorry M6's have a good night all.
Surprised myself this morning. We averaged 7.15s going out and 7s coming back and I didnt think I could go that quick when not in a race. Downside is that Tom has now got into his head that I am capable of doing all our long training runs that pace. Boo.
Many thanks to Cathy and kids for the drinks. Much appreciated.
M6s--Thanks for a great party! I really enjoyed keeping the fire going and burning all the wood and paper i could find. Hopefully your furniture, birth certificates and wedding photos can all be easily replaced.
Eric--Thanks for the lift.
Who fancies a longish run tomorrow morning? Very easy pace. Time and place open for discussion.
For those wanting to do a sociable run in Lyme Park - Meet at Disley Station at 9am.
For those wanting to do a long run - Meet at Disley Station at 8am, do an hours run, join the 'sociable group' for a run in Lyme Park then tag on a few more miles at the end.
IAAF, what a great couple of races, 10k Mo nearly got a gold with a great run. Usian shot his bolt and false started, Kim collins 3rd at 35 years old. Brilliant racing.
I don't want to complicate things but here's another suggestion. Those wanting to do a long run, start from Rose Hill, run down to Chadkirk, go up on to the canal to Marple, carry on along the canal to Disley. Meet at Disley station for the social run at 9am (at which point i'll head home), then you could head down to the canal or MW in High Lane & back to Rose Hill. I reckon it'd take about an hour to do the first bit to get to Disley.
I'm up for a run tomorrow but need to be home 10.15ish plus don't want to go too far or fast after yesterday's efforts, so JS's idea works well for me as I can do Disley and back if time allows. If it doesn't work out I'll do my own thing.
Meh I've drink too much wine, won't be joining for anyone for any runs romorrow unless it's later on!
J8 - found some good routes with Bash today. That hawthorn tree route over the hill ater fthe moorside is great. I wasn't convinced before but I am denifitely convinced it's quicker now thanks. Also found the path down after peep o day that cuts a big section off. I'm still not toally convivced about the Edale station short cut but we didn't really have time to reccy it properly so I reckon I'm juct going to going down the road - dont reckon it saves much much time. Jacobs ladder - I go left anyone way same as you I think.
M6s - thanks fr the party last night it was great!

Eric - Beat ya!!!
GBM - I up for a run but only 80 mins, if it fits in with whatever people are doing then I'll join you for part of it if not I'll go it alone.
Thanks for last night, folks - really enjoyed it! Good to see everyone - there wasn't much food left!
TB - ta v much for the shield - M6 is chuffed with it!
GBM - M6 and I are up for a run tomorrow - how about a sociable Lyme Park outing?
Best quote of last night from Helen Garner - "Is that your dad doing the barbecue?" It's my sister's other half - he wasn't impressed!
Minnie - thank you.
GBM - just put a time and place on here, as Gaddafi says, democracy will never work
Great night M6's. Cheers very muchly.
I'd be up for a Lyme Park sociable pace run.

M6's- Thanks very much for a great night.
TST - the Peris Horseshoe is not marked, although nav is not that difficult (I've recce'd it) - you just have to visit checkpoints as listed:

I will be doing the full, and yes it will take me all day!
I'd say it's the best route of any fell race I've come across
Ok then, new plan for tomorrow.
8am at Rose Hill and then running to Disley station for 9am for a sociable run through Lyme Park.
GBM - I will see you at disley as well.
