i did lap a couple of people who were doing the marathon last year... felt marginally guilty... especially as one of them had passed me.. paced me nicely for a couple of laps and then faded again !
cold has dried up to a slow trickle and a bit of a cough.. still a bit bunged up.
Now I have a very tight/sore calf muscle - think this forum must have a virus and is passing it on .
Of course I will still be there on Sunday and start off hobbling and see how it goes, mind over matter says it will clear up once I get warm, or is that wishfull thinking looking at the wonderful weather . See you all as you pass me by.
Hello! Well I've done my packing list and wandering round London to meetings in high heels today - that's good prep for this, isn't it? BTW Ed, the heels are red, not pink
Managed to get out for a Valentine meal last night but paid for it during the night as I was doubled up in agony. Never had kids but think I now know what labour pains must be like. Hoping to hobble round to the hairdressers for my 'go faster haircut' shortly.
Hammie,
It is a back injury but pain is in the abdomen area. Have used my 'tens' jobbie but still in pain.
Hope to be able to travel tomorrow and will make a decision about running on Sunday morning.
