Good luck for tomorrow guys, especially Colin...I expect you to keep or even break that course record.
I've decided to stay at home, forecast looks good and no wind forecast but it's too cold for me to run an ultra in and I don't want to mess up my training at this stage. I also have some concerns re my 200 mile drive home after the race in sub zero temperatures, although the roads should be dry I can't guarantee that.
Cas, just remembered - the stretch of A1306 between Dovers Corner and the traffic lights is 30mph and there's a camera altho' not sure whether there's ever any film in it. Best safe than sorry tho!!
Been awake since 4 and, of course, got snoozy around time to get up so had a mini lie in. Now way behind! Just realised I had ordinary tea last night not decaff so maybe it was that or maybe it was just all those thoughts that were churning round my little mind!!!
Thanks to Cas's suggestion, I have a small plastic crate which is now full of 4 0.5l bottles of oj/water/salt, one plain water and a choco-milk for post-run. Gel rubber banded to each oj bottle. Three small bags of jelly beans, some mini pringles, two nutrigrain bars, three rounds of jam sarnies and eight slices of malt loaf!!!

Yes, here in Stratford on Avon, there's still a thick frost, and were only 42 miles from Draycote
Shades - a great shame, was really so looking forward to you being there , my wife also was thinking how great it would be to see you as well
Colin - Yes, were rooting for you as well like Shades said to bust that course record, hoping you come zooming lapping past us !!!!!!
well, i suppose all the talking is over ahh, it's time, time to put those final things away, have no idea what we'll do tomorrow
if it's frosty, until the sun melts it and it warms up, safety will have to prevail first
