the Vit run is easier too - lots of people because of it being two laps so not lonely like Bala, and not those enormous hills and spongy straw to run through at the end just when you think your legs are about to drop off
Men went second at Bala last year, think it may well be the same set again this year.
At the Vit, I think the men went first. If my memory is correct.
in 2006 it was women+old men first; in 2007 the other way round. do you mean you failed to cop a feel as the fast boys went past? though, with one or two of them, skinny as they are, it would be like feeling up a bicycle

I was getting confused there and thought you were talking about the Vit, not Bala for the men going past, but no, I didn't 'cop a feel' - or if I did I didn't notice as my hands were numb

well, I am pretty sure isn't because your legs are too long
true, which makes it even worse, as mine should have been the quickest owing to being nearest to the ground to start with
