would Sir like a side order of anything, a salad perhaps?? Can I recommend a rather fruity Pinotage we have in the cellar at the moment...................
bo-bo it was me who mentioned a Saturday run if you want to join me was thinking something around the 18-20m
We are going to FLM expo on Friday morning, sorry the car is full but if anyone wants to meet us up there or needs something picking up just let us know.
I will be working on the last water station just after 25 miles sorry I cannot offer the three course lunch that PSC has on offer but an nice refreshing glass of Peckham spring, aka Vitel is yours for the asking and a good helping of encouragement.
PSC you are clearly the biggest "nutter" swimming errrgggggyukkkkk !!
It was Bobo who pointed out the rather obvious shape to them!!! The funny thing was that the first time a did a large batch of merginues was for a post RFL race picnic (BoBo was running it with a bunch of work colleagues). Topical I thought - bloody hillarious they thought.
I tell you what Cliff, why don't you make it a Midnight Run, stay up all night, have a bit of breakfast and then drive up to the FLM, that's what the real nutters would do!
CMF7 - Are we sitting down then? I thought that the tradition of these things was that you grabbed your food and then ran. However if the Fans of Thanet are willing to set a precedent and get us to sit for a meal then I am all for it.......forget the 4 hour mara though!
bo-bo L2B pace is good ( I have had some further ideas about that which we can discuss on Sat) I am happy to meet at the usual place at 8.30 unless you have a 18-20m route you want to do from round your way as your allways driving over to us ?
PSC will you be bringing the leftovers along to the 25m water station for us to finish off.
Cliff aha so now youve come out on a national forum and admitted your target time Are you gonna join us on Thursday night for the traditional last short gentle jogette ?
Bill its only about 65m ish from Thanet to Blackheath maybe we could set off Saturday take it nice and gentle and camp on Blackheath common so your there nice and early for Sunday morning

Tempting but a little on the decadent side. Perhaps, to quote Delboy, I would prefer a Beaujolais Nouveau 86, do you have one?

Do you think that I could do an 18-20 miler on Saturday without it affecting Sunday? Could I get away with it?
Why would anyone want to swim, a boat would do perfectly well and you wouldn't get cold and wet!
I don't offer my meringues to anyone !!! They are special meringues
CB - behave! LOL

Well then I'm honoured PSC!
CB don't give MF7 any ideas!!
Cliff, stay sensible! Taper fever will be over soon.
what madness is this?!
Mark - 18-20 sounds good, can I just check that they will be at L2B pace and not mara (race) pace....usual place? 8.30am?
so let me get my shopping list sorted;
jelly babies
steak
chips
mustard
coconut cookies
meringues
strawberries?
we must not forget the 3 year old Beaujolais Nouveau
Just back from a sweaty 6 miler (8:40 mm pace)..... (just to rub salt into the taper wounds)
MF7 is watching football but will post tomorrow re Saturday Bobo.
Mile 19 is going to be jolly crowded PSC - better get there early to get the trestle tables out!!
