shall I bring a karaoke machine with the mobile bar? not sure about you lot - but I think with this amount of kit we better pitch camp on Friday.
The forecast is bound to be wrong - after all it only rains on the wicked, we will all be basking in liquid sunshine
MF7 - happy to come to Thanet, car knows to turn left from the school run now without prompting. Are we going anywhere nice? road shoes, off-road or high heels?
MF7 Heavy is a draught beer which you cannot get easily in London, McEwans Export is the nearest equivalent, though to be honest I would prefer a good real ale. McEwans bottled Champion Ale at 7.3% is a gorgeous drop of beer and can be obtained in a number of our local supermarkets.
I went to the Expo this afternoon and picked up my chip, goody bag etc and a few good tips. Looking forward to it with trepidation. Just want to get on with it now.
CB - start tomorrow morning and you will be guaranteed a PB I also went today with Charlie, We bumped into Pauline H; actually I was having a bit of a rub down by a blonde bombshell with my trousers around my ankles, and she said Hi. All very embarrassing
PSC Bobo, is there a guarantee that you can serve me in a certain time or I get my money back (not that I had any intention of paying in the first place) A similar agreement to the one that I had with the blonde bombshell!
<marches in with armfuls of oranges, echinacea and whiskey>
Cliff - straight back man! no room for taper coughs on this thread! The pit stop to end all pit stops is not to be confused with some fast food outlet! service will be precise - payment a smile, or grimace depending how hard the customer is working.
Bill ahhh many a good night ive had drinking pints of heavy. I will pick up email in the morning.
Just back from another fascinating club meeting
Cliff what have you caught from the blonde bombshell
I too am fighting the sniffles( looks like im banished to the spare room for a couple of days)
bo-bo Ok Thanet it is then. Road shoes as I think ive hatched an idea to do a combo of the run to Birchington across the airport then the last part of the Viking trail if thats ok
Too far for me! Anyway, I will be swimming and possibly cycling too. I've also got an array of high cal snacks to cook for all you marafoners. . Plus a tap to fix before the leak brings our kitchen ceiling down! Grrrr
With all these flying helmets, goggles, massages etc I haven't wandered into Thanetpleasuredungeon.com by mistake, have I? (I do hope there isn't a real website with that address!)
OMG be carefull fixing taps PSC last time I tried that I cracked the sink and had to rush out on a sunday afternoon to find a new sink, a new sink base because the only sink we could find did not fit on the old base, a new set of taps, new tiles for the splashback as some broke, a tap spanner as tools just seem to disapear dont they. not to mention the plumbers tape, tile adhesive, grout and paint etc All because I tried to change a tap washer
CB and CF keep an eye out at Chestfield petrol station for a very nervous looking but very pretty young girl on Sunday morning. Her name is Hannah and its her first time and they will also be joining the Barnehurst Convoy!!
Are we going to need a police motorcycle escort for this convoy? Maybe PSC and Bo Bo could join us with a pickup truck in which they could lay out the bar, barbecue grill etc in the back for the steaks at mile 19.
"hey weve got a great big convoy **ucking through the night"
OMG Mrs F you might just as well have posted a big advert in perverts weekly (if there is such a mag I of course would not subscribe to it as Cliff can vouch im more your kerb crawler type) we wont be able to get anywhere near Chestfield on Sunday now
This is Mrs F speaking - got told off at work for being on the internet !!!!!
Hannah is one of the physios I used to work with at QEQMH - she hasn't run with us at all and is hoping just to get round on Sunday in memory of a friend.

that sounds like a nice route MF7. Bobo's just dashed off to get her Biggles outfit ready
CHOCKS AWAY NUTTERS
I sense a theme here. bo-bo asks if she can wear high heels and now PSC has her running of to put on some kind of uniform
you not joining us then PSC ?

See running is so much less expensive than DIY
The cough is still there. Thanks for the advice Bobo, Mrs CF said a similar thing 'Pull yourself together man!!!'
Bill I think you might have stumbled on a potential business opportunity there

Only kidding
PSC you're in the clear - phew!!

Is Hannah the young girl that has joined in the speed sessions a couple of times recently when I have been there?
MF - I think us kerb crawlers should stick at times like this

I won't join you on the run this evening, I really am a little on the poorly side, bliddy cough
Fingers crossed for Sunday
