I can't wait for next year now.

You soon forget all the pain, hours in the rain and hail when it's dark and everyone else in the family is in bed. The giving up of things you like to eat and drink and the forcing yourself to shove gels and the like down your throat, even though you hate them and they make you feel sick. The panic, the wibbles, the 6am swims and 5 hour bikes.The tucking yourself up in bed earlier than your did Mum when you were 6, and the joy of hill reps when you read reports like this!
