Also Edinburgh Half and GNR later in the year and doing the Hogsmill Ladies at the end on April (jokes on a postcard) if anyone fancies a nice gentle 5 miler??
MWAH to old plodpals, Sam, Dan Dan, Mini Dansam and Tetley xxx
I remember her - how very sad. Any more details Yeo?
So sad to be alone, but to be undiscovered for some time is awful. I seem to remember she had poor health, does anyone know when she was last seen around the forum?
I only venture on one or two threads now, but used to pop in on this one and another that Parddu frequented.
another toast to her from her, like Yeo, sans alcohol for me
She hasn't been around RW for a while, like several others, but she was an enthusiastic Facebooker, and several of us were worried when she suddenly went quiet at the beginning of March
She had recently moved to a new town and had seemed to be settling in. Her last status was complaining of a sore shoulder, and although she was never in the strongest of health no alarm bells rang at the time.
It appears that a member of her sewing group found her a few days ago, and that she had been dead a few weeks.
I'm so sad that someone so lovely died alone. She deserved better.

I remember enjoying the Hogsmill Ladies
When is the Edinburgh Half?
I have just heard the awful news that Parddu has died, apparently alone and undiscovered for some time.
I never had the privilege of meeting her, but I knew her as a sweet, lovely, lovely kind lady, and am saddened beyond words.
I will miss her, but the alto section of the heavenly has a new strong clear voice
What very sad news
Raising a glass to Parddu tonight
Me too, but mine is how Parddu would like it - sans alcohol

Sad to hear this - one of the old school plodders.
Oh I remember her from way back. How sad to have died alone and be discovered much later. I shall plod my run today in her memory
I am raising a glass to her from here in Oz. Sad news. I too remember her from here on the plod thread(s).
Ah, Parddu I will raise a glass too I seem to recall that she liked to start the Christmas Day plod thread
Oh nooooo, that's so sad poor Parddu.

Today's the day when I traditionally tried to start the thread with 'Allons ploddeurs de la Patrie...', and, more importantly,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, FLR!!! xxx
it was a big one too
I'm sorry to have missed flr's big one!
