Motivational Phrases

Many athletes have motivational phrases e.g. Lance Armstrong - Pain is Temporary, Quitting is forever.

    No it doesn't. 'Mo ichi do' does mean one more time but not 'like you mean it.'
  • Ok Mo Ichi do means one more time, you skinny twat and the look on his face says "like you mean it". Perhaps it's all about the context in which the phrase is said? It's a direct quote.

    I've got that as my 'Desktop'

    Mine are;

    'It's Easier by Bike' (bar on the 'Harriers verses Cyclists' course)

    Have got a US Marines top with the "Pain is just weakness leaving the body..." motto on it.

    I like the Roger Bannister one (although it's not a phrase per se)...
