I really didn't want to do this, but pride has stepped in and I need your help
Our rescue Collie-x, Benny (^^this is him^^), is up for an RSPCA award - but is losing to a rabbit called Ken
If you want to know more, I've written about our fostering and subsequent adoption of Benny in a blog.
But if you can spare half a minute to register a vote - the competition details are here (when taken through to the voting progamme, you have to enter through the "not-safe" mode).
Voting closes on Jan 5th.

I'll see if I can rustle up some more votes for Benny
Couldnt find the right poll and if I may offer some feedback I cant read your blog either as the background conflicts with the typeface
I voted again from work.
I never gave rescue dogs a second thought till I read your blog, I thought you just got one and took it home.
I did ... just giving feedback
I've just voted from my phone too, and my Mum and brother have both voted
I didn't want to resort to vote pleading and thread creation, but the branch manager has started a Vote Ken campaign on the FB page so as far as I'm concerned the gloves are off!
Meldy - I shall look into making my blog more user friendly
Mr P - not all rescue dogs are quite so demanding. I haven't really gone into great details about the work we've had to put in with him, or the setbacks we've had, but it's an ongoing process, trust me!
(We've met with a few new challenges over Christmas) But I am so chuffed we have him, honest!
I'm an evil genius
It's much easier to read now, perhaps it's an age thing!
Mr Puffy - you speak for yourself!
Thank you all, again (and again and again for you multiple voters )
Benny's got his nose in front!
(If you vote in Private Browsing and close down and re-open you can vote again
+1 for Benny.
Pooch power.
