GOM - I'd be willing to share my training tips in the run up to the race.
Since it'll be hot and no-one will need a coat, maybe you two could fit in a little swim-bike-run to stop you getting bored?
Cougie - yes, there are permanent signs. And water fountains in a lot of the villages.

Nice timing for a boing there as I was thinking about flights yesterday. I had a look on Sleazyjet and they're only booking to March at present.
701-ish on the entry lists so far according to my maths
I am sure I booked fligts about October time last time ...
Entries are trickling in nice and slolwy so we have plenty of time yet
