I was about to add myself to the 'half' list but someone has done it for me - thanks whoever it was
I am excited about this, but know where my weak points are and know what I need to do - just have to actually do it now!
we have a pretty big list.
if people withdraw then I am sure they will release more entries - they will want it to be fairly full
maybe I should start practicing the bike route now...should be up to speed by June...and able to get up that pesky hill....

Maths I think they have already accounted for the drop out percentage in with the amount of entries, so they won't have to deal with and sell spare places any more. Don't quote me on it, but I did read somewhere that when it's full it's full and thats all folks!
Like what postie said I don't think they have the space for 1400 people in T1 and would make a lot of sence from there point of view to do it that way. Probably save a lot of admin cost. Can anyone see how many entered now for the full? Sorry gang can't see it on the website and assuming it's on the farsebook group.

So what if no one drops out and they do have the full 1450 people? Will they be able to cope?
Rocco someone always drop's out London and a lot of the big races do it this way and just assume it will happen. At the end of the day the only part of the course 1400 will be a problem is right at the start of the swim and in T1/T2.

but from all these events i think the drop out rate is similar........so amny people get caught up with the momentum of applying.and then either don't train or get injured or just lose focus........
