don't think i could run that far though....
in fact i remember being pretty knackered after walking it!

i did it in 1981
and my mum did it when she was 21 - 1972.

zilla said he might do this too.
we started at 10pm, and were having hot beans at4 am en route
saw some nutters running it
took me 17 hours i think
never got me coffin, co the wimpy B/F couldnt walk the extra half mile
did the same as you though and started at 10pm - can't really imagine why now as surely if we'd started at 5am ish we would have done almost all of it in daylight.
i've still got the same hiking boots too.
no blisters
i cant remember which way round i walked it
and it ended with a bl**dy big hill (probably wasn't but it felt like it)
eeeeek
ive got one in 6 weeks
i still haven't done my first marathon
wonder if marathons will seem any easier after
