I noticed that when I was over there. I just think the English expectation that everyone should speak English is abit arrogant. I like to make some effort.
I will be fitting marathon training into IM training: ticking over at about 25-30 miles a week at the moment but will be up to 40 with some quality sessions each week for Rotterdam.
Is counting the same as Afrikaans I wonder? Think very similar. Actually for all my moaning at school about learning Afrikaans it has given me a basic understanding for quite a few European languages.

Komt volgend jaar April, Ik zal het Nederlands vloeiend spreken!!!
Ticking over at 30 -40 miles seems like an insane ammount of running to me.
And no tricks!!
I keep toying with the idea but my club captain reckons you have to a two year training plan.
I can already swim three miles indoors and run a marathon so teh cycling and putting them all together is the biggy
Genoeg Nederlands voor vandaag.
