Chimp: you won't be disappointed, since having Sky+ the wife and I have hardly spoken. I've been rewatching Marco meeting his mother after being evicted - great stuff!
If the weather's as bad where you are what else are you going to do?? No Soccer AM, no Soccer Saturday. Like living in bloody Poland in July and August it really is,
Timing stretches exercises the memory as well as the legs on long runs. Trouble is, as I run slower I have to remember the times at the check points for longer and the memory is declining too. I usually lose a few of my splits on the eleven mile run so am thinking of cutting it out.
Felt good today, ran 9 miles shaving 5 minutes off the time I ran last week. I think I have two pairs of legs, running and non-running ones. I don't know which pair I've got on until 2 or 3 miles into my run. My biggest fear is that one day I'll have one of each and end up running round in circles.
I've played tennis and sewn the tail back on a crocodile costume so I feel I've had a productive morning. Not sure I'll manage to do any running though.
Hello LL, tennis counts as an interval session as far as I'm concerned. Who's going to win this afternoon? I fancy the Russian I must say (do you grunt?).
I'm not surprised you fancy her. Even I do! Every year after watching Wimbledon I get inspired to hit the ball really hard like the proper players do. First time I step on court to play a match I go back into hacking mode! Can't help it. I'm afraid I win by making other people play badly rather than by playing well myself.
BTW, good afternoon ladies and gents. Temp was not bad this morning, but the air is heavy with humidity. However, the run was not bad. Well, another week in the books, so to speak.
Hope the walkers have fun. Note to Meer - I believe that bath comes afterwards, but you are welcome to take one anytime.
I looked at some Trek bikes yesterday as I want to get one for my tri. I even looked at one like Lance rides. It looked fast just standing there. The salesman seemed sincere, but I don't believe that I can coax the speed out of it that Lance does. I must have fooled him with my athletic build. Either that or he was kissing up to make a sale.....Naah! It had to be the first one.
Well done Maria but yet again I've been impressed by the class shown by the Williams sisters. Remember when Venus went out and she refused to criticise the umpire whose incorrect call may well have cost her the match. An extraordianry example of sportsmanship especially from one who is now probably getting toward the wrong end of her career.

And have some for yourself, of course!
;o)
Hope the walkers are having better weather than up here.
Persisiting it down it is.
Waiting in for the Sky man . Getting Sky Plus fitted (installed?) today. He's just rung. We're first job so I'll go for a run after.
Morning all - I don't usually run on Saturdays because I can't, but today I can, so will I?

Like lining them up and just looking at them.
Think its a bloke thing

"This telly isnt working!!"
"Which remote are you using?"
"Do you think I'm stupid??"
"Which remote are you using?"
"muffle, muffle, muffle.......ooh it seems to be working now. See you later..Bye!!!"
He's right about the milk though - I've never liked the way he calls my boys "Sonny"...

Is there something you want to tell us? It's okay, I'm a man of the world (I've been watching Big Brother).
On the odd occasion I play I go for the most outrageous shots in the hope of playing just point like the professionals.

Have a nice weekend.
JohnnyJ, seriously, anytime you want to come over to Wimbledon for a game just let me know.
DavidB, the commentator said that Henman Hill is now called Mount Maria and for some reason I thought of you.
Must have been brung up right them two!
