My dentist said I only have to visit him once a year, not twice. Yippee! Although last year I had to have a filling replaced and it was the first thing I had to have done in 20 years. Bit of a shock to the system.....
Very healthy, SVT! I've had my banana and my apple is ready for when the next hunger pangs strike. Am being taken out for lunch today by some consultants to discuss "my next move". Ooh errr!
No, they're consultants who've been doing a lot of work for our Council and I know one of them quite well anyway. So nothing to be scared of - in fact, they think they can help me find my next role.
btw....do you think your folks would have any spare rooms in their b&b around the 28th?....am going to the Mountain Bike World Cup thingy but I am guessing they mite me a touch busy...
Not too miffed this morning, after my nice bikeride last night!
Latte and jaffacakes anyone?
Dude, stick to chocomilk and herbal tea today. When is the 'date'? What's she like?
Alex, sorry to hear about your tooth, it stopped me from buying a bag of sweets today! I have very bad teeth, not of my own doing. My saliva does not produce enough of a defense mechanism to the nasty in your mouth, so it eats away at my teeth in stead... I should really be saving money for a couple of crowns/caps but hate to have to spend so much money on something thats invisible :-( so bought the racing bike in stead :-) Hope I won't regret that when a tooth breaks off next...
No answer at the moment - I'll try them again later.
The e-mail and web-booking stuff is on the website. I'll try and call them anyway to let them know you're interested, and see what they might be able to do. Of course, being Bank Holiday as well as the MTB World Cup, they may well be booked.
That's not the downhill one, is it? I've seen that course from afar and it looks terrifying.
I am being techie today... reviving a dead latop by rebooting the whole system, fingers crossed!
And changing over a bust LCD screen as well on another. Great excuse to do very little today, as I HAVE to keep check on the machine re-booting and everything so can't do anything else. Well, be on the forum hahaha
My OH came a nasty cropper going downhill on his MB a couple of summers ago. Bike collapsed without warning, he was going around 30 mph on gravel path and ended up in hospital for a fortnight with broken elbow and badly cut knee. Holiday cancelled, he was off work for a couple of months, summer pretty much ruined.
I was more than irked, I can tell you! So was he....
I was thinking about my fatality going down hill last night in Richmond Park and slammed the breaks on! On those tiny tires a big stone or small hole in the road is enough to send you flying! And then there were the deer. Slowed down for them too!

Anyway, I get a lunch out of it!

Tea, anyone?
Yes please, a cup of weak tea no milk or sugar.
