i did a 5 miler this morn in the gales BUT it felt good after even tho i now wear a sweat jacket to get rid of some excess weight (its like running in the summer heat - i've lost 8lb in a week so it works)
entered my 1st half and got my number gonna get ready for the mab mara, boy am i looking forward to it, roll on september
will see if there is a route map being added to the website and will come back to you on that one and places are filling up quickly. you should be ok for a couple of months yet. just keep in touch and let us know

I want one!!!! (not to keep though, just for a few hours)
What a nightmare/fantastic trip you've had!
This thread has gone rather quiet. It went mad up to 10,000 on the other one and now we're all worn out!
Haggus- On the home page there is a link to the RW marathon calendar 2007 and MABO ISN'T ON IT!!!!!!
Wonder why it isn't on.
Where is that again, For I have forgot...
well getting back into the running
seems like summer compared to what weather I saw over the last couple of weeks
still able to train in my shorts
just bought a LCD TV need my sunglasses to watch it talk about sharp colours
Hipps where are you. I got into trouble yesterday at the meeting cos you weren't around. Please post something so that they know you are still around
the TV as gone on the blink
company say they are sending a replacement tomorrow
tonight you will win the lottery
just to let you all know that we are now on the running calender on here. got a nice email saying sorry
thanks RW
RB- I hope you have your telly now, but as there's a load of rubbish on at the moment you wouldn't be missing much!
arrived smack on 3pm seems ok

I can't find it on the website.
I do like the "views from around the course"; the first 8 pictures are so similar, my treadmill running would certainly have me well-prepared!
this is a great mara too
oh dear
you will end up doin 11 in 11 weeks at this rate
we now have our permits (at last!!)
i'm hoping that you have all been out training seeing as this thread looks as if it is in hibernation
(1) Do you have a route-map?
(2) How late can I leave my entry and still be sure of a place? I'm dreadfully injury-prone and training is a bit touch-and-go at the moment.
Thank-you.

3 more of these then upto 6 x 20m long runs
really need to get sub 3.15 so as to make the Mabo a more easier run
the website has been updated and is now showing a route map for the marathon
lots of different things on there now. have a look
