Turned around to grab my water bottle, foot came off the belt and I went down like a sack of logs! A day of arnica and I feel ok today..... Albeit I will rest as I'm doing the poets potter marathon tomorrow.
Another week done and dusted. My highest ever mileage week, and my longest ever training run . No further mileage increases between now and the marathon, as the emphasis is more on speed during the next training block.
There was light snow throughout the run this morning, but thankfully the wind wasn't quite so bad as it has been recently. Or maybe I'm just getting used to it
I've changed my race prediction for Marchvellous. I had made a slight mistake including this Sunday's race, when technically it is still part of Febulous. I don't suppose it matters, but hey, better play by the rules I'll do a parkrun one week later in March.
Febulous got me through the door again this evening and I had another good run, feeling reasonably comfortable at a much higher average pace than I've managed since restarting
Was going to aim for a 5k(ish) time for Marchvelous but now I think I might wait to see how I get on with my 'long' 5 miler this week before deciding whether to stick with the 5k or set a 5m target for the end of March

LOL.... +1 on that!
c'mon, how the devil do you fall off a dreadmill
Take it easy out there folks......
Top tip: put your water bottle in one of the holders at the front of the treadmill. No need to turn around.
Very frosty this morning, and that friggin' cold wind is still here The open road is going to be fun on today's LSR
Good luck with the mara PSC

Good reminder Tenjiso.
Time to complete (if not already done so) your Marchvellous details.
These include, "How many runs per week", "How far each long run will be each week" and "How fast you predict your DIstance Time will be"
This time is MOST IMPORTANT, You need to judge your current ability spot on. The penalty for being over optimisyic or under achieving is HARSH.
It gets worse The shorter the distance, the more critical this prediction is.
D'oh
Might have to think about it a bit more then
Did anyone get the MT Team messages I did yesterday?
Would appear that MT site has had a hiccup, so checking - anyone?
I've been receiving them okay as far as I know.
Me too. But I dont know if I'm not getting the ones you havent sent...
Ok, when was the last you received ?
Last message I got was the "Knock, knock" message, with the comment added later.
Thanks for that Richard
It's ok, and the names Darren,
New page, so I'll repost this

Don't leave it too long Trogs, has to be sorted by Monday
5 miler is planned for Friday morning so ample time to decide before Monday
Also want to test myself properly rather than 'cheat by setting a time I know I can do and running easy to hit it dead on.
FROGS!!!!!!!!
RIBBIT!!!!!!!!!
It was FF I tells ya
Long run done this morning, week 8 completed
Started to rain half way round turning the surface quite slippy, been a while since running in the wet.
On the good side, pace was good and I'm sure my target for next month is achievable, looking forward to it now.
