Has you down as 80% image

  • Oh, thx... Will check.
  • Ah, got it. My first name is Gavin not Pete. So we need to convert names from Runners World to Real World, or Mara Talk world anyway!
  • Ooops sorry Gavin.

Guess that's the problem with assuming name from forum alias.

Will send Team Message from Marathontalk.

  • image  no damage done!  another 11 miles in the bank this morning.. woohoo

    COME ON TEAM!

  • Oh well, Team fail this week, not enough 100% ers to complete requirement. (15of19)

Well done to everyone who ran during the snow and ice of the week, tough week to run.

  • Last run for week completed. January done and dusted.

February/Febulous details done and dusted, ready for next 4 weeks.

Get your details and targets set everyone.

  • No allowance for half miles, so I shall just have to be strict with myself to make sure that I actually do the extra 0.5 on the weeks which demand it.

Today's run was one of those where it just felt like I'd only just learnt to walk and running just felt completely uncoordinated.

  • Some of us still 100%

    No allowance for half miles,

It's just a note for your longest distance for that week Trogs, so if you plan on 13.1, just click on 13.

    Well done the 100% ers

Come on the rest who need to log their runs, we need 15 of our 19 to be at 100% for the Team to achieve 100%

  • Ive put mine in for now. WIll do the last 2 runs this afternoon and tomorrow. I WILL be 100%

In my dreams - or maybe next year!  Think my 'race' target for Marchvelous is going to be a homemade 3.1ish though I hope to be up to at least 6 miles distance wise by then image

  • Not a great month, had 2 good weeks and 2 bad. Will make sure I am 100% for Feb

Lol, I was only giving an example image

The distance isn't an issue, as long as it's over a mile evryone is happy.

Take it nice n easy, don't want any injuries do we.

I've also signed for a 5k or 10k everydayinMay. Anyone else interested ?

  • Wheres that one Gaz?

  • It's a monthly challenge, Sally of Fitnaturally is responsible.

Have a look at http://everydayinmay.co.uk/event-details for info and what the money is being used for. Only £15

  • We are down to 15 for Febuary.

    Get those details updated image

  • Boo/get well soon to the dropouts; keep up the good work to the 15 image

  • If i go over my distance on my long run, will I get penalised?

Glad to see you're sticking with us Trogs image

  • Gaz, you seen the ride option for the everydayin may thing...192 miles in one go....i like that.

  • Sorry - I messed up. I have been out injured and was so demotivated I did not even bother to enter a target for the first week of Feb image I'm going to drop out of this as I need to take each day as it comes running wise. Sorry to let the team down image

    Saw that, looks interesting image

  • Back on track with 17 of original 19 carrying on.

Do not over do it, stay healthy and run safe everyone.

  • Blimey. Went out for a little run with Southville tonight. The closest matched group was 10k @ 9:30-10:00/m

Ended up doing just over 7 so I thought I'd tag another bit on. Done my first required long run as the first run of the week

I've knocked my expected number if runs down slightly too, takes a hot of pressure off as work is mental at the mo
  • Frost back this morning, at least the high winds had died down.

Need to do my LSR tomorrow, image

  • going to apologise in advance here peeps.  am currently carrying a calf injury/shin splint which means i can't run at the moment.  picked it up on sunday, thought i'd be ok on monday and am now currently in pain whenever i try and run.  need to give it a rest for a week or so and see if it sorts itself out.

sorry if this f*cks up the team scores
