Hello I will be in Croydon (does that count within the topic of this thread?) for all of September for work. I was thinking of bringing my bike over with me but wanted to know whether there is anyone I can ride with from there...
Fantastic most of my riding is at altitude and on the wrong side of the road but I will be in Jamaica all of August for work (taking the bike there too in the hope of getting some rides done in the Blue Mountains) so I should have lost the altitude advantage by the time I'm in the UK...I'm still stubborn though!

Do you just do dangerous places? Which bike? You could put the MTB to use round here as well.
But for starters we can offer the Olympic Cycling Route and Dustboy's Corner.
For work purposes I mostly do 'interesting' places I have a Cannondale supersix as road bike, Cannondale SL2 MTB, Create fixer for Bogotá city streets. My reasoning is that the road bike will be lighter and therefore leave more space for sport stuff (that is insanely expensive over here) Jaffa cakes and those amazing wasabi pea things on the return journey!
We're meeting at the shop at 8am. Head down to Brighton at a nice pace. Stop in Brighton for chips then either bottle it and get the train back or HTFU and cycle back
Hi Hannah, I am doing theCarrot cake route at Ibbo's cake quest ride on the 22nd from Walton on the Hill, you are welcome to enter and join in. I did the Jaffa last year, very friendly and a choice of distances Jaffa, Carrot or Fruit, 60/110/1??k.

The one with the great Paninis? Yes, that's the one
And that's not a euphemism...

Hannahb, lots of good riding once you get outside M25. If you need a route, we can find soemthing for all levels.

You mean something at all levels (5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%) as long as you don't actually want level - or flat as it is sometimes called.
I know not of this 'flat' you speak of I live in the middle of the Andes

Sure I can find something flat somewhere....Boxhill is flat for a start.
Might venture out this weekend for a mosey around. See if me having lost a stone makes a blind bit of differebnce
I meant Liverpool & Croydon
So is there a plan? Where are we leaving from?
