Nowt here nor for my mate in the north oh yeah they usually go out alphabeticaly, and the rejections go out after like last year, my surname starts with F and I did not get in but a mate with first letter T got his acceptance before my rejection.
Last years were sent in clear plastic bags, with a A4 sized magazine inside - with the offer of guaranteed charity places (if you can raise lots of dosh !!)
I can't remember if I bequeathed my fee or not! My cheque has been cashed but I'm not sure if I bequeathed the cheque just to get the fleece or not aaarrrggghhh!!!!! Where's the effin postie!!!!! Will someone put me out of my misery.
I live in the middle of nowhere and the post is usually a day behind the nearest village. Do we definitely know that it's this week or is this panic likely to continue for longer? Like Zephyr I can't remember if I bequeathed, cheque has been cashed and I don't want a bloody fleece!
Just phoned the Marathon hotline and they confirmed the letters would to sent out between 25/11 (yesterday) and the 9th Dec. They said they are not being sent in any particular order.
My postman's has already delivered this morning and no sign of my letter :-(
I think I need to go away for a couple of weeks as the suspense is killing me.
Just spoke to FLM and they say that they are sending magazines out to sucessful and unsucessful applicants as of yesterday. You will only be able to tell which magazine you've got by looking at the front cover. Down right cruel if you ask me. They won't get them all out at once and it may take til 9th december to get them all out.
I've tried to convince myself that if I don't get in, it REALLY doesn't matter and, rather than slog over a charity place again - £1500 is a LOT of money - I'll do Dublin instead and treat myself to a weekend to remember, or not (which is more likely due to the booze!). Sounds like a plan and I'm ALMOST convinced. Almost.
Twinkeltoes, good attitude. Dublin was great this year (were you there?) and a number of us are doing Milano marathon in November which would be a nice brucy bonus for your not getting into FLM.
Twinkletoes - I'm of the same opinion. Might do Sheffield in the spring if no FLM but want to do Dublin as well - there seems to be a decent sized gap & I'm no serious runner anyway.

Work on the other side of your letterbox. Use a laptop, paint the door, do tele- sales, fit the carpet. Hope this helps!
