TK maxx again for me. Our favourite poster might deem it `crap` but nice Asics rain-jackets (removable sleeves) and shorts available in my local (Sheffield) outlet. Random sizes and maybe my Asics coat is a tad snug .. . ?!
The battery in my Polar FT80 HRM watch needed replacing. Off to the jewellery shop in the High St - £7.95 or £12.95 lifetime battery replacement. Oh, I'll have that then! The user manual says expected battery life 8 months which is pretty much what I've had. Tried to suppress my glee until I was outside the shop - F Hinds Ltd if you have one near you

Thanks Womble - just bought a new Polar HRM and have a Hinds just up the road - I'll definitely go there for replacement batteries!
Only just seen this thread... sorry! I should have said Adidas discount store in Portsmouth had an extra 30% off last weekend. I got some Bostons for £21, Mana for £27, Glide 4 for £32 and some various shorts, t-shirts and vests at decent prices. I'm not sure who pays £37 originally for Adizero long shorts though! Always worth a look but suggests new stock from SS13 will be in shortly. There is a Nike store here too.
I have only tried the sis gels in a half mara and cant get them down me easily, however when I do I notice a boost so want to find something I can get down me and these sound possible, and at essentially 40p a sachet, I am willing to risk it.
Newton MV2 shoes ??50 (free P&P) - men's and ladies in a good range of sizes. From http://www.b2psports.com/ direct or the b2p store on Amazon. They're also selling off some 2XU stock, but the sizes are limited.
Registered customers get 25% off clothing, 15% compression and 10% Newton during August on LansonRunning.com. If you haven't got an account it is completely free and can be done by visiting the website now:
This was mentioned on a thread in the ultra section but I got a 16 litre Inov-8 backpack for £30 on SportsPursuit. They were knocked down to £40 but I then signed my wife up and used her £10 free credit. I also now have a further £10 credit to use, which I may well use toward some inov-8 trail shoes, which also look most bargainous!
Not a right bargin but still very good deal for what you get so throught I would share. Waited until they delivered before I posted in case they have sh*t service. IF your biking this is a very good reliable conputer.

After experimenting with gels over the past 4 years, I find Spar Cola Bottles to be the best. And a hell of a lot cheaper.
Saw good stuff in TKMaxx today. I recommend the Hind shorts and the NB stuff is good value too clothing-wise.
just got a marketing email from Sweatshop with offer on Garmin FR210 for £107.99 - a very decent price I think
